Mike, Aidan and I
will be participating in the

Hospital of Philadelphia.
Did you even know that September is
Childhood Cancer Awareness Month?
This is for our sweet CALLI
Calli died on July 4, 2012
FROM CHILDHOOD GLIOBLASTOMA MULTIFORME.
A BRAIN TUMOR.....
In May 2011...
she had a bad pain in her back
three weeks later....
CALLI WAS FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE.
a cancer-filled monster crept into her spinal cord...
paralyzing her
along the way to her brain...
it took her legs
her bowels
her bladder
her arms
her hands
her eyes
her speech
and it took her life :(
this is for CALLI
To remember her life
To honor her fight
She never gave up!
SHE WALKED
WHEN THEY SAID SHE WOULDN'T
SHE RAN
WHEN THEY SAID SHE COULDN'T
SHE NEVER COMPLAINED
SHE NEVER GAVE UP HOPE
PLEASE HELP US TO RAISE
childhood cancer awareness
Please help us honor her life.
Please join us!
All funds raised will benefit
The Cancer Center at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

RAISE AWARENESS FOR CALLI
the tatas can wait till october-
SEPTEMBER is GOLD
Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you on our team!
I was hoping that you would post this on the blog. If I could, I would run for Calli. How wonderful that you have documented her journey and your struggles with until the end and still. Of course you are to miss her and it will hurt. I cannot imagine your pain - but I do know our Lord and he will keep you walking for Calli and testifying for Him. Yes - we want a cure for this terrible cancer. But how many have come to know the Lord through your ups and downs the past year. And Calli - ever faithful. I don't know if I could leave such a legacy. She will be remembered for how she lived and how she blessed. Her faith will rise to the top like cream. Yes, this terrible disease took her - but you know where she is and who she is with. She has the victory. You must have been some faithful parents to instill such faith in your children.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless and comfort you.
Hey Lucy,
ReplyDeleteWhat time is the walk/run? We would love to do it with you but we have something that day and we need to see if we can make it work. If not then we will definitely donate.
Hey little sis! I forwarded your email to at least 500 people in my work database so hopefully we'll get some more people to sign up and hopefully hit that 100 people mark for our team :) Love you so so so much and thinking of you all daily.
